LavaLava w/ SATOSHI TOMIIE (JP)

Satoshi Tomiie, the pioneer of Japanese house culture and protégé of Frankie Knuckles, cemented his place in history as early as 1989 with his cult classic release, “Tears.” He is one of the most exciting figures of the post-millennial progressive wave, belonging to that rare group of house legends whose cross-generational work remains fresh and experimental to this day. Currently, he has moved towards deeper, dubbier sounds.

To our great delight, another legend, Chriss (Chriss Ronson), has also accepted our invitation: the Hungarian progressive master will warm up for the Japanese genius! They have already shared the decks in several legendary clubs back in the 2000s, and we are convinced that Kassa’s sound system is worthy of this occasion to discover together what house music truly means today.
